Physiotherapy at Fraser River Rehab helps with chronic pain, post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and mobility limitations, improving overall function and reducing discomfort.

While both therapies promote independence, physiotherapy focuses on physical strength, mobility, and recovery from injury, while occupational therapy addresses daily living skills.

Each therapist takes the time to assess individual needs and create customized treatment plans focused on achieving the best outcomes. Physiotherapy addresses a wide range of conditions, from managing chronic pain and mobility issues to aiding in post-surgical recovery. It’s not limited to sports-related concerns.

While some exercises may be challenging, the goal of physiotherapy is to alleviate, not intensify, pain. Therapists work within your comfort level to promote safe healing.

Effective recovery generally requires several sessions over time to achieve lasting improvement and meet recovery goals.

Physiotherapy involves specific, targeted treatments like manual therapy and mobility training tailored to individual needs, unlike general exercise.

Physiotherapy supports individuals of all ages, including children needing injury recovery and seniors seeking pain relief and improved mobility.
